Der Stom war weg. Den ganzen Tag. Von 07:00 – 21:00 Uhr. Jetzt ist er wieder da und das ist gut. Heute war ein richtig richtig guter Tag. Wir sind mit Bramwel (dem Kind mit dem Down-Syndrom und den beiden Adern am Kopf) nach El Doret gefahren, weil er dort ein CT bekommen sollten – wegen seinen Kopfadern. Die 2-stündige Wartezeit kam mir gar nicht so lange vor. Das Krankenhaus war riesen groß und sah ausnahmsweise mal aus wie eines. Danach sind wir in ein Restaurant „Mamma Mia“ gefahren und haben gegessen. Pizza. Mal was anderes, als Reis, Ugali und Pommes. Ich hab schon bessere Pizzen gegessen – trotzdem war es in Ordnung. Nachdem dann irgendwann die Rechnung kam, fuhren wir in einen kleinen Tierpark. Für die einheimischen Menschen hat der Eintritt umgerechnet 1,50€ gekostet. Weiße Menschen mussten 4€ zahlen. So ist das in ganz vielen Fällen… Besichtigen konnte man paar Schildkröten, Affen, Schlangen, Sträuße? 😀 ein Löwen-Päärchen und Lehmhütten.
Weil ich für meine Rückreise noch kleine durchsichtige Plastiktüten für’s Flugzeug brauchte, sind wir nach dem Park in einen großen Supermarkt gefahren. Da habe ich endlich meine Tütchen bekommen – hier in Kitale gibt’s sowas nämlich scheinbar nicht. Zumindest waren sie nicht auffindbar.
Gegen 17:30 waren wir wieder zurück und haben noch einige Zeit im Garten verbracht. Am späteren Abend konnte man ganz viele Sterne sehen. Durch den Stromausfall sogar noch besser als sonst 🙂
