Hatte ich schon erwähnt, dass die Kiddis hier gar kein Englisch sprechen? Manche können es verstehen, aber standart Sprache ist hier Suaheli. Die Afrikanerinnen, die hier wohnen, können zwar Englisch, sprechen es aber kaum. Deswegen rede ich nicht ganz sooo viel. Mit den Kindern spreche ich trotzdem Englisch. Blöd ist nur, wenn sie irgendwas erzählen und man einfach nichts checkt. Dann heißt es einfach „lächeln und winken.“ In dem Fall wohl eher Lächeln und nicken 🙂
Übrigens ist das Wasser wieder da. Dafür war aber heute Abend der Strom für einige Minuten verschwunden. Mehrmals hinter einander. Das ist aber nicht weiter tragisch.
